Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in San Benito County, California. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day to day you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
