Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Union County, Illinois. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling The role involves lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover.
