We are recruiting: we are hiring a floor screeder in Wapello County, Iowa. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Day-to-day duties: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
