Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Hartlepool, England. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Your main tasks: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. £3,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
