Stainless steel welder wanted in Barnsley

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Barnsley, England. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. £3,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
