Urgent requirement: short order cook (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a short order cook in York County, Virginia. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. Requirements: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate On a typical shift you will taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; prepare the mise en place before each service; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience.
