Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Allegany County, Maryland. On a typical shift you will sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room. Requirements: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
