Immediate opening: halal butcher (Arkansas)

Join our team: we are hiring a halal butcher in Lawrence County, Arkansas. The job is in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Your main tasks: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience.
