Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Columbia County, Arkansas. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Your main tasks: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
