Now hiring: we are hiring an event security steward in Borough of Torbay, England. You will be based in a corporate office building. Day-to-day duties: • Hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover • Write up incident reports after any disturbance • Detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police • Raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency • Log every visitor and vehicle in the duty register • Keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area Ideal candidate: • Ex-servicemen preferred • Alert, disciplined and punctual • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours 2+ years on the tools preferred.
