Plastering hand • Orleans Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plastering hand in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a new-build housing development. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Day to day you will check walls for plumb and level as you go; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
