Fabricator-welder wanted in Franklin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Franklin County, Missouri. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot 6+ years on the tools preferred.
