Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Teton County, Idaho. On the job you will handle: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 3+ years on the tools preferred.
