Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head butcher in Baraga County, Michigan. The job is in a supermarket meat department. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter On the job you will handle: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date Full-time, day shift.
