Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in McPherson County, South Dakota. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints.
