Now hiring: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Vermilion County, Illinois. You will work at a busy tyre bay. On the job you will handle: • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine Ideal candidate: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
