Production line inspector wanted in Black Hawk County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production line inspector in Black Hawk County, Iowa. You will be based in an electronics assembly workshop. What we are looking for: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges On the job you will handle: • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings Six days a week, one day off.
