Body shop technician — Van Buren County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a body shop technician in Van Buren County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy body shop. You should have: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement On a typical shift you will straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
