Sample machinist wanted in Umatilla County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Umatilla County, Oregon. On the job you will handle: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently 3+ years on the tools preferred.
