MIG/MAG welder • Jim Hogg County, Texas

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Jim Hogg County, Texas. You will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
