Sheet metal welder — Lisburn and Castlereagh

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Lisburn and Castlereagh, Northern Ireland. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
