Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Telford and Wrekin, England. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; read lift plans and method statements before starting; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals £2,950 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
