Gtaw welder — Gombi

Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Gombi, Adamawa State. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height On a typical shift you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
