Immediate opening: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Cheboygan County, Michigan. The job is in a public park. Day-to-day duties: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads What we are looking for: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting 5+ years on the tools preferred.
