Concrete labourer • Caerphilly County Borough, Wales

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Caerphilly County Borough, Wales. On a typical shift you will patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. Requirements: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Full-time with occasional weekends.
