Aluminium installer — Borough of Wigan

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium installer in Borough of Wigan, England. You will be based at an ACP cladding fabricator. Your main tasks: • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints Full-time with occasional weekends.
