Quality checker wanted in Matanuska-Susitna Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality checker in Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska. Day to day you will calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
