Urgent requirement: punch press operator (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in Plymouth, England. Day-to-day duties: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
