CNC mill setter-operator • LaSalle Parish, Louisiana

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in LaSalle Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
