We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Dale County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $11,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
