We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges On the job you will handle: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe 5+ years on the tools preferred.
