Heavy equipment operator (dozer) • Benzie County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Benzie County, Michigan. You will refuel the machine and record running hours; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $31 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
