GMAW welder wanted in Wukari

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Wukari, Taraba State. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Full-time, day shift.
