Now hiring: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Iowa County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a busy body shop. You should have: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners On a typical shift you will blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs.
