Vacancy available: quality assurance assistant (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Osceola County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools You should have: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Rotating shifts.
