Sheet metal press operator — Obion County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Obion County, Tennessee. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components You should have: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses 5+ years on the tools preferred. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
