Slinger signaller • Fall River County, South Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Fall River County, South Dakota. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Meals and transport allowance provided.
