Concrete placer — Tensas Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete placer in Tensas Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Day to day you will mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
