Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Sherman County, Oregon. The role involves: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
