Join our team: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Powhatan County, Virginia. You will be based in a gas distribution network. On a typical shift you will install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided.
