Urgent requirement: horticulturist (Indiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Elkhart County, Indiana. You will work in a public park. Your main tasks: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Six days a week, one day off. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
