Gtaw welder wanted in Karim Lamido

Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Karim Lamido, Taraba State. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Your main tasks: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
