Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Muscatine County, Iowa. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. The role involves strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
