Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Bracknell Forest, England. You will crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square. Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
