Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
