We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in Union County, Florida. Day to day you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
