Paint sprayer — Amherst County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a paint sprayer in Amherst County, Virginia. You will be based on commercial fit-out projects. The role involves prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting. Requirements: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
