Vacancy available: we are hiring a horticulturist in Bullitt County, Kentucky. The job is in a botanical garden. Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage On the job you will handle: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers Rotating shifts. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
