Immediate opening: lift mechanic (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Dallas County, Iowa. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. Day to day you will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; run load and overload tests with test weights; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways $4,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
