Join our team: we are hiring a counter butcher in Warren County, New Jersey. The job is in a meat processing plant. The role involves vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
